Week 2 Preview
Thursday, 12 October 2006

Week 2 of the AARFL rolls around this week with two very interesting games. The most interest will for sure center around the Druid Hills v Midtown game. With Druid Hills having a big win in Round 1 v Decatur the word is out that they are the team to beat this season.

What is interesting this week is that many of the Druid Hills players have just spent the weekend in Las Vegas at the USAFL Nationals and may not have fully recovered from the games or the town. On the other hand the Midtown Bombers will be looking for the return of club leader Curtis Jones to their ranks and with the recruitment of Damien "Dogger" Sheehan to the team the stage is set for a classic encounter.

Will it be the hard running Highlanders or the tough and hard at it Bombers?

The Roswell v Decatur game will also be interesting. The Rebels might have slipped under the guard of Midtown in Round 1 and suprised them and for sure they will be a handful for the Decatur team after they were thoroughly beaten. The key to Decatur is most definitely David Sullivan and if Roswell can keep him quiet they would be confident of victory.

All is looking great for two great games of Aussie Rules Footy this Saturday commencing at 10.00am at Dekalb Memorial Park, Wilkinson Drive, Atlanta.
