Midtown head to the top on St Pats Day
Saturday, 17 March 2007

In cool and blustery conditions Midtown confirmed their Premiership favoritism by defeating Druid Hills this morning in a game that nearly went down to the wire. Midtown had led comfortably all game but Druid Hills had one last crack at them in the last term. It was too late though and the Bombers snuck home for a deserved win by 10 points.

In the other match Decatur shook off a determined Roswell to win their first game since 2005 and get off the bottom of ladder for the first time with 4 points next to their name.
